The Grounding Earth: how I create…

As I mentioned in the Who inspires… and the What inspires… of The Grounding Earth Project, wildflowers are a big component.  Spring is such a wonderful reminder of the resiliency of the seeds and roots of these fragile, joyful plants that cover the earth we walk on.

When I was young, a favorite activity was to press flowers between the pages of books. I remember pulling out an encyclopedia to do a school report and have flowers fall into my lap from between the pages.

This project is a crafty one that makes bookmarks out of pressed flowers. It’s easily done using sticky film that keeps the flowers in place and preserves them. Check out the video instructions below for how to create this project and have some FUN!!!
