Love is what you do, not what you get.
Artist Statement
In an effort to heal a divided nation after the American Presidential Election of 2016, I set out on a search as an artist to understand what my role would be in continuing the important work of bringing the world, my friends and my family to a higher place. My search led me to a deeper understanding of my yoga practice at a studio that reinforced the words of Mahatma Gandhi,
"Be the change that you wish to see in the world”.

My artwork flows out of my research and dedication to a spiritual life lived behind a very common life of being an artist, teacher, mother, friend, daughter, wife.  It is a devotion to the divine DNA that lives within me, within nature, and within all of us.  We all bleed the same and seek the same source.  When we meet that source, embrace it and learn to live within it day by day, our world will one day be healed.  This is my small voice that when combined with others, will make a holy chorus.

We must discover and accept what unique part of the divine mystery is ours to reflect. All each of us can give back to God is what God has already given to us. We must choose it, respect it, and allow it to blossom.
The most courageous thing we will ever do is to bear humbly the mystery of our own reality, to trust our divine image and grow in God's likeness. It is simply a matter of becoming who we already are.
